I got my DVD of 20 classic episodes in the mail yesterday. I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to watch it, but I'm so glad to have it.

This Wednesday would have been Guiding Light 75th anniversary - the show debut on radio January 25, 1937 and ended on TV Sep. 18, 2009.

Philip and Mindy are dating and it is her birthday party. LOVE IT! I have only watched the beginning but I think it is where Alan tells Philip he is not his father.

It is hilarious at one point because someone is blackmailing Alan for $10,000. LOL. Alan would not even lift a finger for that today! HAAA!

I almost cried when I heard the opening music. MISS GL!!!

PS. I really think that if we all buy these that they will MAKE MORE OF THEM for us!

Here are some of my photos from Daytime stars and strikes! I had a great time!

I told Michael O'Leary that I hoped my "Company" shirt would work as a Guiding Light star magnet.

A little story: At the end of the night it was just me and my few friends and Grant and Mike and Jill and Mimi and Liron and a few others talking. Grant was talking about what a generous actress Beverlee McKinsey was & how she would set you up to be able to shine when it was your turn to act.

Also Jill Lorie Hurst & Grant were talking about how everyone always took care of the "kids" on the show. Hayden P.'s name came up.

They were discussing about how GL was such a great place to learn the craft of acting because everyone was so giving. You could definitely tell that Grant was now a teacher and had thought about all of this!

Some of the pictures from the bar area are mine (Me with Kim Zimmer, etc.) and the pictures of me with other fans. Many thanks to my new friend who gave me most of these pictures!
