I'm likely in the minority here, but I like the sl with Parker and Liberty. Given their troubling backgrounds and having to deal with very adult issues individually, watching the innocence and nativity of their blossoming young love is quite refreshing.

Yeah, me too. May be all that JP was trying to imply was the parallel of a very young man/boy befriending a much older woman. I was in school when 'Harold and Maude' hit the screen and then, the cult status, and while I admired the acting, etc., I simply could not wrap my mind around the plot line at all. Yes, similarities between totally alienated souls such as Harold and Maude can bring about bonds of friendship, but ... I am still disturbed whenever I recall the movie, even after...

I think it is a non-sexual friendship as well, but it is the mention of Harold and Maude that gives me pause - that movie had such a dark SL ... this link has a plot synopsis, see for yourself if you are interested.

Lisa is the same age I am and there is no way I could ever think of someone Parker's age other than one of my ggrand children.
I don't believe Lisa would ever be that perverted.
Now,I could see her with Isaac a few years ago (he was just darling) But still not in a sexual way,just as very special friends.

As for Casey and Emily,I suppose that could (and does) happen. If he is mature enough (which I don't see in him) and she is imature enough (which she is)...

I kinda refuse to believe that. It has to be a joke. LOL If that happens, I will definitely know tptb are sick.

On the bright side, is Liberty really gonna be out of Parker orbit? I hope so. I really want Liberty gone..but not being with Parker would be ok, too. LOL

This can't be right. It has to be someone's sick joke....I can see them becoming close like Grandmother/grandson (although I don't believe they are any relation at all) but I can't see it anything more than an innocent kind of love. Atleast Casey has graduated from high school and Emily isn't post menopausal, they are what 20 and 40? That's no big deal. But 15 and ? early 70's something? That's just crazy!

I agree. The only thing is, I have the same reaction also towards Emily and Casey pairing, only with a few other negative emotions thrown in as well.

Here at least I am glad that we will get to see Lisa in a story-line and not as a by-stander character.
