For those of you who are Catholic, my mom was really devoted to the Blessed Mother and faithfully said Rosary's every day to Her. She is with her now.Guy, I'm sure your Mom was very much comforted by saying her Rosary and also sure that she is happy being with the Blessed Mother now. I hope you and your Dad can be comforted by that.

I'm so sorry to hear that your mom had passed away.You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.I know how hard it is to lose a parent my father just passed away in Feb 19 of this year and I'm still trying to get over that he's no longer with us.I miss him so much but as each day that pass the pain gets less.In time you'll remember all the wonderful times you had with your mom like I do with my father. Guy - I don't know what to say. I had no idea you lost your Mom just a little over a month ago. I don't know how I missed this distressing news.
Please forgive me for being so late with this and please accept my very deepest condolences in the loss of your beloved Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very painful time.

My dad at times seems to be holding his own. Its natural of course, but he loses it at the cemetery. My sister and mom are there (my sister died of lung cancer
back in 1996 she was 41), so it was hard for him before seeing his daughter and now my mom side by side. He is getting a 3 plot stone made fir them, and me and
my wife are plotted next to them. We got all this in advance (1996).
Me, I have my moments also. I still feel like a 12 year old who just lost his momther, and I'm 55 yrs old. I guess you never get over it. I talk to her every day and night. Things happenning like my son's baseball games I ask her to help my son get a hit or to pitch well and strike a big hitter out. She loved watching him play ball and swim competitively at meets. She always cheered for him, as well, she loved watching my daughter in her dance recital in her 9 programs from opening number to her gymnastics. Again, I want to thank all of you for your moral and spiritual support. I love you guys very much!!

I'm like Shelly. It's been 4 years for me and I still miss my Dad. We have great grandkids in the family now and he would have loved watching them so
much. We talk about that all the time. It does get better, but still.

I know what you mean about the kids, Masa. My Grandmother died after my miscarriage and did not live to see us have Jack. it kills me sometimes looking at him
and thinking how much she would love him.
I really do believe she had a big hand in us getting pregnant. I think she had a talk with the big guy upstairs. She had a way of getting what she wanted!!! It was hard to say no to her! Elizabeth |
