My oncologist saw me two weeks agao as I reported. He wanted me to take another PSA test in 2 weeks and see him again in 3 weeks. I took my PSA and it went
even more. It went up another 0.7 making it a new total of 1.6! This is scary because it went up .2, .4, and .5 the last three 3 month readings (9 months). Now
it went up .7 in just 2 weeks! I am afraid. I will see my oncologist tomorrow and see whats available and what we'll do.

imagine how you feel, but we're with you all the way. We just have to pray harder! Prayers do help and I believe they will! Hang in there, friend.

Met with the oncologist. He was quite surprised it jumped as much as it did in just a very short time. He said there was a trial clinic out but it closed,
now it reopened. They give hormones for 6 months (1 injection every 3 months) then I have to take this drug, Privotib (something like that). Only problem is,
there are placibos, and I don't want to be in a study that has that. I want the test drug, and I have no control.

I don't know what kind of hot flashes and mood swings you're talking about. I don't have anything like that.

I'm sure you will look lovely in pink. You are already a member of a soap board, so you don't have far to go to get in touch with that feminine side. 
I hate that the trial involved placebos. I know that is how they usually work, but it seems so wrong that some people will get a sugar pill while their cancer continues to grow and they have no way of knowing that they aren't getting a real treatment until the trial is over. I admire your ability to keep that sense of humor. Hugs, Shelly
