Tom Pelphrey has signed w/ATWT. No news on the character he will be playing but its a new character. He begins taping in 2 wks

Interesting! I will definitely tune in for this....with MW coming back in a few weeks and TP coming in we just may have something interesting to watch.
Wouldn't it be cool if they paired them up somehow?? Not as a couple but something..... Hopefully it will breathe some new life into the show.

Well, that is good news! Maybe he's going to come in for Katie since Brad is done. There are no other younger women on the show. I just hope he's not a bad guy.

let him play jonathon...it's an easy crossover and he doesn't have to bring GL with him...he is afterall, still hiding from Alan for some strange

I think him coming on as Jon, "hiding" from Alan would be great! I love the character of JR as well as TP! I am just glad that he's coming, no
matter what character he plays!

Lord help us all if he would be Craig's son. LOL I can't imagine him as Chris..doesn't seem like he would fit as Bob and Kim's son.

JL's Craig is a 'nicer' Craig, but no, I don't want him to be Craig's son, but a nephew from the Montgomery side of Craig's family -
isn't this possible in a Soap story? For example: Craig has a (full) sister in Cricket Montgomery Ross, doesn't he? What if Mick was a son of hers (I
know she is supposed to have only one son (Billy) and one daughter (Suzanne) - but hey, this is a soap, right
 ) who has taken the Montgomery name because
he wasn't the son of Cricket by Ernie Ross ...
Heck - with all the relatives who they bring into town for Janet (incidentally, they are bringing in a Mobster uncle for her - I posted about this last night in another casting spoiler thread - aaaaaaaaaaaaccccccccckkkkkkkk!), and the sudden relatives they throw at poor, poor Henry, I wouldn't mind another Montgomery in town! |

What *I* would love to see is a romance between TP's character and Maddie Coleman - the actress playing this character is beautiful and the character is a
very interesting character with a very complicated past - they wrote off the character for a while but are bringing her back.
As far as families to which I would love to see him belong - I have already voted for him being a Montgomery, a nephew of the darkly rakish but actually sweet Craig Montgomery (this was the character whom Hunt Block played before he was written out for a while, but is now being played by another excellent actor named Jon Lindstrom). Craig is a darkly sympathetic villainously lovable character much of the time; complex, very complex. I would like Mick to be his darkly sympathetic villainously lovable nephew. It could generate conflicts galore in interesting ways, if played correctly ... Or, a very interesting romance can be created by pairing TP's Mick with a character who is coming back to the canvas named Molly McKinnon - a little older than him, but played by a very hot actress ... and the character is very interesting ... Anyway, that is my wish list - I would like to see TP kept very far from two characters named Alison Stewart and Emily Stewart, for various SL reasons. Both are played by attractive actresses though - but I think it will be a wrong move for the plotlines. So .... I guess that is what WILL happen

Maddie Coleman is very bright, and in the beginning, everyone thought that she was just full of fun and games, but it turned out that she had tragedies galore
in her life, having been raped by her sister's husband who continued to sexually abuse her ... the girl simply shone through all the horrific and tragic
scenes! Then she was ... well, you are right about those big brown melting eyes ...
And Craig - no, he is a lot more tragic than Alan - and ... well, it is hard to describe, I like him a whole lot better than Alan ... but he is not a striaght-forward villain or hero ... Wait, I just realized that my head is swimming with tiredness and from having breathed in all the ashes and smoke from wild fires around here. I don't think I can write coherently on this subject right now, so I will give you a couple of links where you can read about both Craig and Maddie: All about Madeline aka Maddie Coleman All about Craig Montgomery May be someone else can write a more coherent thumbnail sketch of Maddie and Craig for you - I like the two characters a bit too much to be brief about them
Anyway, keep in mind that DK might make TP's Mick not have anything to do with either of these two characters - which will be a big loss if you ask me ... but DK and I never saw eye-to-eye ... |

Have heard about the wildfires, Malar, but never thought they could be close to you! We've been praying that they will be put out quickly....is your house
in danger or is just stuff carried in the air? Will add you to the prayers for these fires!
I think the links that Malar has provided are good ones. Craig is hard to explain....I wish everyone could have seen Craig back in the day when he first came on played by Scott Bryce. He was kind of a pain in the butt, but he meant well, he just didn't know how to be patient for what he wanted. THEN he turned a little bad, but still, with SB playing him, I couldn't help but love him anyway. He left the show and was replaced by Hunt Block. Now, I think HB plays an excellent villian, but I didn't like his Craig because he turned him into a very bad Craig. I didn't like Jeffery Meek's portrayal either, but when then brought SB back, *sigh* I started to look past his misdeeds, much like I did Edmunds!  I do think JL is doing an excellent job (although SB will always
be MY Craig) and he's making him human again, even if misguided in his deeds!

but we live in the shadow of Mount Wilson, home to the world's first solar observatory and to many communication antennae (including local network
stations' and even the CIA's and the US Army's), that has been threatened in this series of fires - we were may be five or so miles away from where
the fires were raging. Thank goodness (and praise God) that the weather cooperated. We were spared the fearsome Santa Ana winds which could have made the
devastation by the fires much, much worse. Anyway, today for the first time, we see no ashes falling from the skies.
Again, thank you. Incidentally, I agree with everything you have written about Craig. I never saw Scott Bryce's Craig at the inception, my first Craig was Hunt Block's and though I came over to wach ATWT because of Hunt Block, I soon became very tired of his rather evil Craig. When Scott B. reprised it, I could see the charm factor and how human he made Craig. I have no idea why they let him go! However, I too admit that Jon L's Craig comes very close to the humanity of Scott B.'s Craig. Sigh ... |

Maddie and "Mick" would be incredible, impo. I liked Jammy, but honestly, I alway found SG lacking. AC is stunning and an incredible actress. If this
were to happen on the show I would be there with bells on! Lol.
ETA: Oh yeah, I FLOVE Craig! My fav was Hunt, til JL took over, now I love JL too! Not a big Bryce fan, sorry. |
