Posts: 2708 (09/16/09 10:18:13) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I've already watched: *these premiered last week... 90210 Melrose Place Durham County (major weird show on ION network but I'm addicted already) Vampire Diaries Glee Plan on watching:** Fringe Bones Flashforward The Forgotten Trauma Mercy Eastwick Mentalist The Good Wife Castle Medium Southland The Beautiful Life Three Rivers I'm also still watching Project Runway and Top Chef. Oh, and with GL wrapping up , we are switching to The Bold and the Beautiful...sigh Don't even say it, I have no life! Plus, I have to cram in my weekly netflix video. This week is "Duplicity". I'm exhausted already.... ~rose~**

My must sees are Castle, Big Bang Theory and Lost (mainly because I have watched since it came on and want to see how it ends).

The Good Wife Flash Forward Accidentally on Purpose Maybe, "V" ...I say maybe because the last 2 sci-fi shows I got into didn't survive so I'm hesitant to get involved in another. Already like : Glee One's I watch already that are returning: Greys 30 Rock The Big Bang Theory Gary Unmarried Two and a Half Men How I met your mother Medium New Adventures of Old Christine Not back until early 2010 Big Love Lost When GL ends, I'll most likely watch Dr. Oz which is on NBC in that time slot here or maybe record OLTL or DOOL and watch that.

Posts: 9544 (09/21/09 20:33:34) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I really enjoyed the Masterpiece Theatre/Mystery new episode of Inspector Lewis night. It was very well made, and the mystery actually was intriguing, now that they are finally moving farther away from Inspector Morse's memories ... I am relaly looking forward to watching the second season premier of Castle, about to air in a half-an hour from now - from the synopsis, it looks like Castle is somehow going to try to retrieve his working (and otherwise) relationship with Beckett. He will really have to pull a rabbit out of the hat for accomplishing this! It is sure bound to be interesting, plus a new case too!

Posts: 9596 (09/23/09 15:18:46) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I was not planning to watch Cougar Town (ABC, 9 pm) - just not title that appeals to me - but then, I read the reviews which makes me think that it might be worth trying it for a couple of episodes at least - so, I will watch Cougar Town - here is the review that changed my mind: www.nj.com/entertainment/tv/index.ssf/2009/09/modern_family_cougar_town_revi.html I have no intentions, none whatsoever, of watching 'Modern Family' - just simply not my cup of tea. On the other hand, I had intended to watch the new show 'Eastwick' on ABC (10 pm), but reading some of the reviews makes me think it might not be worth the trouble. Here is one of the reviews that changed my mind: www.poptower.com/eastwick.htm Bring back Cher, Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer and Jack Nicholson - I will watch Eastwick I gave up on Criminal Minds and CSI: NY a couple of seasons back. I no longer watch either show.

Posts: 2719 (09/24/09 04:40:23) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Malar- I'm worried about Eastwick getting cancelled. I absolutely hate it when I get into a show and it gets cancelled! I loved Lipstick Jungle and Women's Murder Club (all with strong female roles) and both of them are GONE. It seems like shows with mainly lead women roles never make it. Same goes for Dirty-Sexy-Money that was an awesome primetime "soap" that got cancelled. I've actually grown bored with Grey's but continue to watch anyway...Ugly Betty is in that same vein. I hope in the future shows that have a "soapy" feel would get moved to the SOAP channel where they might actually thrive. They should also put ALL cancelled soaps on that channel as well. ~rose~

Posts: 9628 (09/24/09 17:20:06) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Rose, I watched Eastwick - work kept me from watching Cougar Town, I will have to catch it on-line later on to see if it has any resonance with me - but I watched Eastwick in spite of my earlier determination to not see it. Unfortunately, it felt flat to me. The pacing is all off somehow. The actors seem so self-conscious that I feel very much like I am watching a rehearsal almost. However, I will give them a couple more weeks, may be it is the "opening night jitters" - you never know. I missed WMC while it was on, but did catch Lipstick Jungle, and was very sorry to see it go. I never watched Grey's inspite of how much I adore Sandra Oh's work, because I hate dramas set in hospitals which deal with a whole lot of sexcapades of the medicos. I have worked in hospitals, and believe me, there is nothing remotely conducive to romance in the air ... so, I never watched it. I didn't ever watch Ugly Betty so, I don't know what that is about even ... same was true of Dirty-Sexy-Money ... I should see if I can find it at Blockbusters. Is it out on DVD yet? I am sorry I missed it if it was a primetime soap! I have basic cable which does not deliver the SOAP channel, so if prime time soaps went to cable channels that I don't get, I will lose! I tend to watch CBS almost exclusively for prime time dramas, other than SciFi and Public Television (for prime time dramas, I mean). So, I tend to not notice when good stuff happens on other networks, though I have really enjoyed shows that were on WB and UPN (alas they are no more). I loved Everwood ... sigh ... I hear your pain about Eastwick ... I will give them a couple more shows before making up my mind, for your sakes! Best regards, Malar
