My Grandma is back in the hospital. We almost lost her in June and then again on Friday night. She has very bad osteoparosis (sp?) and COPD. Friday morning she
hurt her back putting on her shirt. (She broke it back in May changing the sheets on her bed) My Gramps, being selfish like he is, decided to get all his stuff
done before taking her to the Dr so she sat in pain by herself most of the day. It hurt to breathe, so she took shallow breaths and that wasn't letting
enough oxygen in or carbon dioxide out. By the time he finally called my Uncle (who is an hour away--we are 4hrs away) because it was just too hard for him to
call 911, her 02 sat was down to 60 and dropping. My Uncle had to go get her and then take her back to the Lake Hospital where she crashed. She did again on
Saturday night while my parents where there. Once again, this could have been avoided had she had the care she needs. Honestly I think my Gramps wants her to
die so he doesn't have to deal with her. It's not like he does much anyway, she still cooks his supper, does his laundry and sits alone all day while
he's out running around or going for a ride on his new Spyder. Yet he whines that he has to stay home constantly to give her care. As soon as she's
able to ride the 4 hours in the car, my folks are bringing her back here for us to care for.

I have mentioned the pain I have in my back. Vicodin didn't help, and the percocet's only help for and hour, but I'm high all day from them. Well,
my recent MRI showed a mass on disc T-8, getting more bone and scan tests done on Wed to determine what kind of mass it is. My PCP is unsure what it is at the
moment. Please, keep me in your prayers.

I hate to hear that you have yet another issue Guy. Hugs.
A cousin of mine is in the hospital. She had a stroke a few years back and she is only in her 50's. She has been in the hospital for several weeks now. Her kidneys had shut down and she was being given dialysis. She was in ICU, but I was told Sunday that she is now in a "step down" room. Meanwhile her mother found out she has mouth cancer a few months ago and has been putting off surgery because she has tried to be there to help take care of her daughter. I hear that she is in pitiful shape. She now has sores on the outside of her mouth. They want to do surgery to remove the cancer, but if she has the surgery they will have to remove her tongue and her jaw bone and replace the jaw bone with a part of her shoulder bone. She will no longer be able to eat and she will not be able to talk. So she is facing a horrible situation either way. Please remember both of them in your prayers. |

WOW! I'm glad that's over. I never heard so much racket in my life.I kept expecting a siren to go off. And the yuckie taste! It was like I had put an
iron pipe in my mouth.
I really don't think there is anythig wrong,All my symtoms stopped when I quit taking the crestor. Thanks for your prayers, that always lifts me up. |
