It is too bad you are not enjoying FF, Loretta.

Just last week, one of the characters did something arguably noble to change his future and therefore avoid causing someone else's death - it was a supreme act of self sacrifice and while very, very sad, it also gave a lot of the characters a whole lot of hope.

I say that not to try and change your mind, but to explain (in part) why I really like this show and will stick with it - I hope that the show succeeds. My world vision makes me acknowledge that there is a whole lot of darkness in the life around me, but that there is also tremendous scope for hope and light. "With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world" - that is what I see in this show.

Just colour me an incurable optimist.
