I read that 3 times and I have a headache. Have Paul and Emily been on this week at all? They did not look familar.

After one week of ATWT......there are bright spots and very glum spots for me. Again a lot I am sure has to do with the unfamiliarity with the show and characters.

Bright:

1. Carly/Rosanna/Craig......I dont know the backstory, but its ok. Characters are real and fleshed out well this week. Story has been told, progressed and we are moving along.

2. Maddie....she is just all kinds of goodies. Really want to see more of her.

3. Dusty. I know nothing of the guy.....but the actor seems really good. Would love to see him and TP square off.

4. Jack. No doubt. One of the best actors on the show. Again, dont know a whole lot about him. But loved his ability to capture tragedy. Character is deep and has many layers. Cant wait to see where he goes.


Glum:

1. Henry/Katie/Brad. The actor who does Brad is getting annoying with his surfer talk. Henry.....should have a love affair with Noah or Luke. And Katie.....well, I am gonna hold judgment on her. She just lost her husband, so we havent seen but this one layer from her. Though the girl needs to get some makeup on....she looks ghostly compared to Brad.

2. Parker, Liberty, etc. They seem like backdrops. Maybe its just the week I have jumped in.....but they just seem like props but with stories.

I am truly dying to know what Mick Dante is doing in Oakdale and how he will affect the characters. Everything seems so mysterious.

11/10 cant get here soon enough. With all the excitement for TP's arrival, I started to fear it would be a let down. Like I wouldnt like the character or they would try and do something so different so comparisons to Jonathan wouldnt be there. I honestly think the best thing they could have done was actually incorporate some of the GL characters into Oakdale. Instead of bringing TP in as a different character, have him come in as Jonathan. I'm not saying do it for everyone, but maybe 2-3.

Today we just saw how good TP can be. I was all psyched for TP. Psyched to see him return to a twisted and evil character. Someone who is emotional and destructive. If I didnt know it was TP.....I would wonder. The guy was completely and totally different. No Jonathan Randall. Mick Dante and Jonathan Randall share nothing. Jonathan was emotional and destructive. Mick is cerebal and calculating. TP has a new character and it draws no comparison to Jonathan. I was in awe. From his hair, the way he spoke, handled himself, etc. showed a new side. At only one point did I see Jonathan and that was the unmistakable laugh. But outside of that......Mick Dante is his own person.

I am excited to see where this is going to go. Obviously he is playing Paul and Emily, but why?

Also, Casey doesnt deserve Maddie....but neither does Hunter.
