Well I ended up having stayed in the hospital for 7 days. They were trying to manage the pain level, which couldn't be done. No lie, I was off the charts,
no longer of it being between 1-10 and 10 being the worst. My new scale was bwtween 10 and 20, with 20 being the worst. I was on 1.5 mg of dilautadid IV and a
75 mg fentanyl patch on. But left the hospital at a pain scale of 7.

I received my 3rd hormone shot last Wed. I met with my Radiation Oncol and a new oncologist, this one specializes in prodate cancer. Heres the whole picture in a nutshell. My prostate cancer is just that but has metastised in my bone vertebrae T-7 and is becoming immune to the female hormones. The tumors is the size of an olive. The bad thing is it is in the bone on the back side of the vertebrae facing the spinal chord and the nerve. The fracture is on the back side of the vertebrae also which has weakend because of the cancer, So this is putting pressure on my spinal cord and nerve causing the pain to wrap around my left ribs and breast bone. My vertabrae could fracture again by sneezing, coughing or going fown steps. They want to do somethin in layman's terms called a cement construction on the fractured/compressed vertebrae and that would help relieve the nerve pain. Then they want to do chemo if the cement id successful.
Good news my new oncologist saw the MRI's and said he sees no progression of the cancer.
There are a couple of drugs out there trough chemo, IV and even one through a new CAT Scan, so I am positive about this. As he told me yesterday, this is very serious, its treatable but not curable. But Newer drugs, better drugs are always coming out. The new meds available to me now were not available 2 years ago when I had my suregery. See, there is hope.
