D.R.A.M.A! Regarding the so long springfield Vegas event this weekend
From Michael Gold in regards to So Long Springfield Las VegasShare
Today at 6:43pm
Due to some erroneous and misleading statements regarding Crystal Chappell's failure to appear for the evening session of So Long Springfield in Las Vegas on December 5th, we want to explain exactly what happened.
Without notice or explanation, Crystal informed me, following the daytime session, that she would not be attending the evening event. I was caught completely by surprise by Crystal's deliberate decision not to participate as planned. More importantly, I knew what a disappointment this would be to the attending fans. I should mention as well that the actors were equally surprised by Crystal's actions.
To clarify our policy: ALL actors appearing with So Long Springfield are treated equally in every way, and are contracted to be on hand at BOTH the daytime and evening sessions for an event. This is a critical part of our very carefully planned events. With the exception of unforeseen circumstances, we do not deviate from this rule.
Celebrity Events Group in no way misrepresented Crystal Chappell's scheduled attendance and appearances in Las Vegas. Neither Crystal, nor any associate of hers, gave us any indication prior to the morning event that she had no intention of fulfilling her obligation. Had we known, she would not have been included. While this unfortunate situation was beyond our control, we truly do apologize to the attendees in Las Vegas that Crystal didn't appear. We completely understand your disappointment and share your sentiment.
As always, we appreciate your fan feedback. The event was an incredible success-our emails are full of praise for the actors and the overall experience. We will continue to organize exciting and unique events that allow fans to interact with their favorite stars.
Sincerely,
Michael S. Gold, President
