I know it is hard. During my dream I kept piling stuff into my vehicles. I had a lot of things to get. I still wonder what the dream meant.

First was my double wedding ring quilt and others my mother made for me along with quilts made by both my grandmothers.

The fireproof box under the bed with the deed to my house and other important papers would need to go. My jewelry box is too big to carry so I would have to snatch a few things out of there like my mother's watch and my graduation rings with the ring my bf bought for me. I have some other stuff in a safe downstairs that is supposed to be fireproof, nothing valuable I suppose just some coins my grandfather gave me when I was little. Hopefully the stuff in there would be okay.

I would hate to lose a print done in colored pencils by a friend of mine that was made especially for me. I don't know if I could get him to do another one.

My signed copy of a UK program featuring the "Unforgettables". Phillip will understand that one. Actually I would want to snatch several things from my UK room like my UK afghan, quilt, bird house, etc but the program would be hard to replace.

I have several cross stitch pieces that I made that I would hate to lose, but I could redo them if I had to.

Most of my pictures are duplicates of ones at my dad's house or my bf's house so I probably wouldn't grab them.

I realized during the dream that I have a lot of stuff that has a lot of sentimental value especially stuff given to me and/or made for me by my mother and others I have lost.

I feel sorry for my friend. She lost everything in the fire and unfortunately her dog was in the house. Hopefully none of us will ever have to face that; I cannot imagine suffering the loss of the dog as well as all her stuff. A lot of people say things can be replaced and some of them can, but some cannot. I would definately mourn the loss of my mother's quilts and I'm sure she had things like that as well.

The one in the basement is really heavy, but it is a commercial safe. It is built into the wall so it is not movable now at all. The one I have upstairs is just one of those Sentry fire boxes. I keep my passport and deed in there with other papers. I have never had a mold problem in it, but I don't put anything but paper goods in there. It looks like this...



My bf just bought his dad a safe for his birthday. I'll have to ask him what kind he bought and to beware of mold.
