Ava seems to be coming apart at the seams. She doesn't want to see her baby. Do you think she is just having the baby blues? Or do you think that Bill
telling her he "loved her" and then when she asked "You love me?" and he said "I love our family more than anything" is what is
making her lose it?

Hmmm ... good question ...
I think she just had a baby AND the stress of the past few months are causing her behavior. It could the beginning of PPD but I think it is too soon to tell (in reality, anyway). She just found out that her baby is of mixed-race and most likely the child of the man she really loves but won't admit to loving. That would be a lot to take, then add the drugs in her system from the c-section ... Anyone else suffer from PPD? I did and my SL had a severe case. I don't believe PPD really hits an hour post delivery. Another thing ... I've had a c-section and I was not standing up an hour or two after the surgery, but whatever ... LOL |

I had a c section and definetely was not standing an hour after the surgery. They had me on morphine after the surgery so i was quite happy when i wasn't
asleep. But the hormones can make u very emotional.
Now that she's had the baby though maybe she feels like she's lost the power it holds over Bill since now they are two seperate people, her and the baby, let alone that it doesn't look like Bill. |

I just want to know why "Reva" is there with her, per the previews, and NOT her MOTHER, Olivia???? WTF? That ticks me off. Like we haven't seen
enough of Reva lately anyway..........

I am wondering if she even had a C-section. They were threatening me with C-section the whole time I was in labor...and I delivered naturally, so I think it is
plausible that she did not actually have one...but who knows?
It is amazing how prevalent C-sections are these days. My Physical Therapist said that doctors get paid 4X more if the birth is a C-section. He thinks that is why there are so many. Ugh! I think that if it is true, then that is horrible! Elizabeth |

If the babies blood pressure or heart rate starts to drop then they will rush u to the c section. That's why they monitor those kinds of things. I also had
two 2 natural births and u can tell when things are going wrong it just doesn't feel right. It's really scary.

I had PPD with my first, and it didn't kick in until about day 3. I think the story line is supposed to be based on her having PPD. Who wouldn't be
depressed in her situation! She must be totally embarrassed. There is no denying who the father of that baby is! Hopefully she ends up with Remy. The two
together make great eye candy. (yes, that is a selfish reason to put them together, but they look great together!)

I think that is why they were threatening us, at one point both mine and the baby's blood pressure plummeted. I was kind of out of it, but apparently 7
nurses rushed in. We were lucky they didn't take the baby then. Ak!

Well, I had PPD, and It's definintely PPD, that Ava is experiencing, and she is showing all the signs I did, cause I suffered from the same thing.
It's one of the most awful things that any new mother can go through. Feelings of hopelessness, guilt, fear, feeling completely overwhelmed and that line
that Ava said in the previews, "I just wanna disappear" or something like that, not sure if I heard it right, but I think I said words to that
affect. Not sure if symptoms set in that soon, but it is different for every woman, but they seem to be rushing this story for MRS's exit, but, it's
definite PPD.
As for Olivia not being there, I agree. It's very strange, and I can't believe they could not work this out better, to coinside with CC being there. I mean, they've known for a while that MRS was leaving, I think, they should have worked things out for Olivia to be there with her, her abscence is just glaring. Reva being the one to step in for her does make some sense, since Reva suffered from PPD after Shayne was born.

Yah - I thought perhaps it was because of Reva's PPD experience that she is there - plus Ava is Jeffrey's daughter.

In MNSHO (and my dh's as well) they have ruined this show with the outside scenes, the up close with no make up scenes and the dialogue drowned out by
some kind of horrible music. We are very disappointed in GL which we have watched for years (and yes, this will tell my age, listened to on the radio)..

I'm sorry to be a real pain in the a$$, and I DO get what you're saying, BUT, I don't give a flying freak what REVA had in the past! I want Ava's MOTHER there! Not Reva! THIS is what pisses me off about this show! Olivia/CC should be there, NOT Reva! I don't want my husbands aunt, I want MY MOM! Buy a clue GL!

It would be more believable for me as well if Olivia were to be there ... but I can see that Reva - as Jeffrey's fiance and a former PPD sufferer would
console Ava.
