SF Happenings…

COMPANY…
Everyone is gathered at Company …Frank, Blake, Natalia, and Olivia… Shayne and Marina… trying to pick out baby names. They have it narrowed down to 72 (lol)… how about Isabella… Blake gets up says my order is ready… What about Henrietta? Shayne laughs and says my Henry says no to your Henrietta. Frank looks at his watch and says oh I gotta go I have somewhere to be I'll catch you later. Buzz teases why the rush hot date Frank? He says actually I do!! Everyone is laughing and going on…. Marina smiles and says Grandpa he does have a date!!!!
Daisy and James walk in right after Frank leaves… she announces she is headed to Berkley everyone is thrilled for her!! She says she leaves in a few hours.
DORIS WOLF'S OFFICE…
Ashlee comes in…. Doris a mix of tears and excitement says I have something to tell you come in…. come in!! I pulled a few strings and I managed to get you into the writing program at Berkley. You and Daisy you can go together…to California!! Ashlee is thrilled, speechless… hurry and pack!! She says I/L/Y hugging Doris… Doris says I/L/Y too … she watches in tears as Ashlee rushes off.
OUTSIDE MEL'S BUILDING…
Chris starts freaking out. She says once we sign this we are legally married right?! Remy says I'm pretty sure but that's why we have to find Mel. Chris stops him and says Remy I have to be married before this baby is born!! He says ok but since we just found out about the baby an hour ago I think we are good. Let's just go find Mel and fix this mess. She says how did we screw this up three times… he grins at her devilishly and says maybe they just like the honeymoon part!!
THE SPAULDING MANSION…
Bill and Lizzie upstairs looking down…Lizzie confides that she has reservations about Alex going off with her newly arrived friend. Bill says Fletcher is a great guy and with all that is happened here she needs a friend.
Fletcher meanwhile is downstairs with Alex… talking…he says I hope we don't get into any trouble. She reaches for him and looks into his face, she says I hope we get into a great deal of trouble…after all that has happened here why play it safe. He smiles back at her and she kisses him.
Philip and Beth walk in…Philip says Fletcher… Fletcher Reed… shaking his hand. Fletcher says I'm so sorry about your dad…Philip nods.
THE COTTAGE…
Jonathan chases Sarah and catches her up in his arms…she's giggling… Reva laughs and says boy you really met your match she is gonna keep you on your toes!! He laughs as he swings her up and around and says you two are gonna gang up on me. Reva smiles says I never thought I'd see this see you back here … staying here always… Sarah is desperately trying to get down to get her princess wand. She says this is the way she loves it surrounded by her children and grandchildren. He looks at her and says wow this is pretty normal for you… Sarah is down he goes after her Reva laughs watching them….
Her cell…
She looks oh… Hey Josh… Josh says I need to talk to you… meet me at CC.
He hangs up he is sitting in H.B. old pick up truck.
OUTSIDE…
Daisy and James are talking… Ashlee walks up all packed up. Daisy smiles and says what did Marina rent my room out already… she laughs. Ashlee says no I'm going with you to California…. My mom got me into the writing program this fall we can rent a place if you want to!!! Excited they and start jumping around as James looks on smiling a little sad.
OUTSIDE…
Maureen is with Matt she says Frank has a date you should go on a date dad…she smiles at him. He says you should get to play practice… she hugs him and he smiles back at her.
MEL'S ROOM…
Remy and Chris knock she answers the door wrapped up in a sheet. He says Mel you gotta fix this for us she says aren't you going to say happy Birthday? He says oh Happy Birthday He sees Cyrus in the bed asks what are you doing here. Cyrus says giving her, her Birthday present. Mel covers her mouth laughing.
THE PARK…
Frank has gotten the baby a crib he tells them, his cell rings, it's his other baby girl… he says what…when…I'm on my way. He explains Daisy has decided to go to college on the other coast I gotta go. Olivia says good luck. What do we do now? They smile at each other holding hands.
THE SPAULDING MANSION (OUTSIDE)…
Beth and Philip console Lizzie… Beth says your Aunt Alex is a world-class traveler she can take care of herself. She says there are just too many goodbyes. Philip says not from us…you can't get rid of us we are staying right here. Beth smiles she hugs Lizzie.
Bill carries Alex's bags… TY… he says to Fletcher I think Alex is glad you came for her…I miss Ben. Fletcher says yeah so do I. Alex comes out…there she is… packed so soon. She smiles at Fletcher and says I'm always packed. Bill stands with Lizzie they bid Alex farewell saying they will be right there waiting for her…I/L/Y…I/L/Y too!! She says call me… she looks at Beth and Philip and says with a smile I'll be back for the wedding. Fletcher gets the door…she looks back at them and says call me weddings, funerals… call for anything!! She looks at the Mansion one last time… tears in her eyes she smiles and waves goodbye.
THE CONSTRUCTION SITE…
Billy looks up says hey don't step in the new grass… Mindy walks up smiling and says Vanessa said I'd find you here. He says I helped Josh pack up. She asks oh… comforting… are you ok? He smiles at her and says yeah… sure I'm a big guy. Hey weren't you supposed to catch a plane? She smiles so big and shakes her head…no…no more planes daddy. He looks at her… she says I'm staying here … I'm moving back!! He says no kidding your dad…my heart!! She says I'm stayin' in SF …if you don't mind. Billy has the biggest smile on his face as he hugs her!!
CROSS-CREEK…
Reva pulls up in her car...she gets out and smiles, Josh is leaning against the truck…he smiles back. She gets a glint in her eyes and teases with a slight drawl… Hey you look pretty darn good standing next to H.B.'s truck. He teases back with a slight drawl… thank you ma'ma; I look even better driving it. She laughs says so you are gonna drive this to Venezuela? He says no, no… she says I thought that was the plan. He says no that was the plan a couple of plans ago. She asks so what's the latest version? He says I'm going to Oklahoma… she nods getting teary … the new wing… I wanted to be there to over see it. She says tears in her eyes… it is your project you should be there. Her voice catches on her tears… He looks at her and says well it has my name on it if anyone should screw it up is should be me.
She says so um you went from Venezuela to Oklahoma… he says yeah… she asks so ah what was the plan in between? He says to kidnap you, put you in the back of the truck, drive you to the nearest Justice Of The Peace and marry you. She looks at him still in tears... he says looking into her eyes… moving in closer… I love you I always have and I always will…
She looks at him turns and walks away a bit... her back to him.
OUTSIDE THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING…
Chris, Remy, Mel, and Cyrus have tracked down Doris… Buzz, Shayne, Henry, Marina, Blake, and Frank all gather around. Remy and Chris explain what happened and say they need to be married now. Doris says they have to hurry Daisy and Ashlee are leaving in fifteen minutes. Mel hand her the license…and Doris performs the quickest wedding I have ever seen. Kiss the bride…one picture…congrats…everyone rushes off.
A TABLE OUTSIDE…
Olivia and Natalia sit together and talk. Olivia says life isn't supposed to work like this. Nat smiles and asks why? She says b/c it hasn't ever… here I am getting all I wanted…we get each other… a family …a new baby coming. She says Frank it's hard on him and I don't want him to feel that we are pushing him out…outside of us… Nat. says maybe the date will go well. Olivia says we can do something …something important… Nat says yes? She and Olivia get up and walk off together.
CROSS-CREEK…
Reva is crying, her back to Josh, he walks around in front of her and stops he says I'm ...I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you that. I didn't mean to upset you. She looks up into his eyes tears still fresh fallen on her cheeks from her own and says …her voice breaking … I love you Bud… always have, always will…I'm...I'm…no…ah… He says not ready I know it's ok I understand it's part of the reason I'm leaving right now. He smiles sadly and adds I'm not ready either that's the other part of the reason I'm not leaving. Can't change the fact that I love you, that every single part of me was designed to be with you. I'm going to go away and get ready b/c I want to be with you...always. She moves to speak but he says …no...no answer… you live your life…and I live mine and in one year…one year…he moves closer looking into her eyes … from this day at 12:00 noon I will be at the lighthouse. If your life I in a place where you think you are ready to be with me then you be there too. She looks up at him…into his eyes and says at 12:00 noon…he says be there. He releases her gaze and walks away from her back to the truck. He gets in… her back to him still eyes closed, she jumps as he starts the engine. She takes a deep breath, he pulls up next to her, and stops, window open head resting on it… smiling sunglasses on, he looks at her, leaning out and says I'll see you in a year Reva Shayne. He drives away from Cross Creek she watches him go…

(SECOND HALF)
Billy walks up and finds Reva sitting on a bench by the door to Cross-Creek. He asks oh…did I miss him? She says ah…yeah he just drove off. Billy looks at her and asks so are you ok? She says I don't know. He asks so what are you going to do? She says right now I am going to call Shayne and Marina and tell them I'm ready to pick up Colin. Billy says no I mean in a year…from now … what are you going to do? She looks up at Billy and says he told you… Billy says I'm his big brother. What are you going to do? In tears she stands and says smiling…I don't know and she touches Billy's face then walks away…
OUTSIDE…
Maureen is back she finds Matt on a bench…he asks how practice went. She says good but the play teacher wants to talk to him. A woman walks out, young and pretty and says extending her hand…hello Mr. Reardon I'm Charlotte Jackson Maureen tell us that you will be building the sets for our play. She smiles. He smiles back and says she did, did she, well; I am in construction so I suppose it would be me. Maureen says she is also head of the Bike Club. She loves to ride… he does too… they should get together and ride their bikes soon. She's like that. Charlotte smiles as Matt hugs Maureen and whispers wow you work fast! Maureen smiles.
OUTSIDE IN TOWN…
Every gathers to bid farewell to Daisy and Ashlee… Reva and Billy are there as well. There are hugs and tears and pictures. Doris says call me, take turns driving, and drink lots of caffeine. You can handle it!!! James looks at Daisy he says I/L/Y… she leans in and laughs says I/L/Y too. Someone honks the horn breaking the moment as everyone laughs. We love you…call us…. Bye… They yell thank you for coming!!! Bye!!!
Frank runs up to Buzz and says hey Pop I have a date in the park!! Buzz says yeah so why are you here… go!! Blake runs up to Buzz right after and says I gotta go I'll be right back… Buzz looks after her confused.
THE SPAULDING MANSION…
Philip is in the dining room looking at a picture Beth comes in and asks are you ok? He smiles at her and says sadly if feels weird I am the oldest Spaulding here now. She giggles on no if you are the oldest we are all in trouble. He smiles at her… she says I got you something… he says what? She hands him a little box he opens it and inside is a journal. She says with tears in her eyes and her voice I…I thought you could write it all down. How you feel everything that's happened. They are both in tears he kisses her I/L/Y… kiss…
His cell… he laughs and says always…
Rick is on the other end he says Philip come to the park… Philip asks why? He says we are all here now…it's a good time. Philip hangs up, takes Beth's hand and says we are going to go to the park.
THE PARK…
Franks makes it up and onto the bridge… at the same moment Blake does. He asks startled why…why are you at the park? She says surprised by his reaction… I don't know …it is a public place. He says well look I'm supposed to be meeting someone here and it'll be embarrassing … to meet my date if I'm standing here with you. She says date at 4:00 o'clock? They both realize… she asks are you F1367… he asks are you 1462? He extends his hand and smiles saying nice to meet you. She says nice to meet you too. I enjoyed talking to you online…me too… he asks do you want to go on a walk . She smiles tears in her eyes and says I'd love to.
Natalia and Olivia walk by hand in hand, they see Blake and Frank. They tell Frank they have decided on a name for the baby Francesca after her daddy b/c he is such an important part of her life. Blake looks up at Frank and says awww that's perfect. Olivia asks…seeing them holding hands…are you two a couple? They smile and say we met on line… they walk off together as Olivia and Natalia smile.
Jonathan asks Sarah if she wants to feed the ducks with him, Lizzie and Bill… she says no and smiles. Jonathan laughs and carries her off saying well you are gonna!! Lizzie says I love her she is so perfect I'd love to have a dozen more!! Bill says I'm glad I saw how happy you were when she came back and I thought you might not… She walks up to him into his arms and says I want to have babies with you more then anything!!! She kisses him.
Buzz, Marina, and Shayne sneak up… Buzz says shhh we don't want Frank to us watching him on his date… hey wait a second is that Frank with Blake. They are settled on a bench together. Buzz smiles and says let's go and give them a hard time.
Rick, Mindy are laughing and fooling around… Danny, Michelle and the kids all sit on a picnic blanket. Rick looks up and says hide Mindy…she hides behind a tree. Beth and Philip walk up and say hello expressing how glad they are back in SF. Rick says yep they are here to stay and s is someone else…come out here Mindy!!! She rushes out…OMG…OMG!!!! Hey you are staying…she hugs Beth… Philip says fantastic!! The Four Musketeers are back!!!!
Shayne sits facing Henry looking into his stroller. Marina walks over t him and says hey I have bad news the coaching position at the High School was filled. He says I shouldn't have waited. She says no shaking her head…then she says they had another position, an assistant position open …I know you are gonna hate me but I signed you up. She smiles handing him a glove and he looks up at her smiling back. She laughs …her head back…looks at him and says … congrats coach!!
THE GAZEBO…
Cyrus and Mel sit all curled up together… across from them are Remy and Christine… Mel says this is the last time you two are getting married right? Chris says it has to be… she smiles Mel asks why… We are having a baby!!!! OMG!!! Hugs all around!!!
THE PARK…
Philip sees James sitting on a bench asks are you ok? James says ah…Daisy left for Berkley a little while ago. Philip says oh… are you ok? James looks at his dad, smiles and says I'm where I want to be… he picks up the Frisbee…Philip smiles and they start to play.
Reva walks up to Olivia and says so you and Natalia are together. Olivia smiles and says yes finally. Reva says good…smiling…finally somebody who can keep you in line!! Olivia smiles, laughs and then says we all need of those don't we. Reva says Josh…Josh left today he ah…he asked me to meet him in one year. She says to Reva…of course he did… and smiles a knowing smile. Reva shakes her head, teary she says, no…no I…I don't know if I'm going to do that or not. Olivia smiles reaches out and touches Reva's face. She then walks back to Natalia and sits on the bench with her. Reva pauses smiles and walks over to Olivia and Natalia.
Everyone is playing in the park together…
ONE YEAR LATER…
AT THE PARK BY THE BASEBALL FIELD… BY THE DUGOUT…
Marina stand with a much older Henry…she says come on we gotta cheer daddy on…if he wins today the are the champs… Shayne smiles at her… Sarah runs by with Jonathan in pursuit… Marina says say hi to Sarah!!
Billy stops Jonathan by the dug out… Sarah starts doing rolls in the grass… he says I just got a bid in on the new school how would you like to be foreman? Jonathan says TY!! Sarah …Sarah… hey crazy woman come here… Sarah is rolling all around… your mommy's here!! Lizzie walks up and Billy smiles her tummy is huge… she's laughing Sarah runs up to her and she takes her tiny hand placing it on her tummy she asks hey Sarah do you want to feel your baby brother kicking… they look on smiling.
Buzz and Lillian see Remy and Chris…and tiny new baby Clayton!! Lillian says awww let me hold him come here!! Buzz says the food is over here!!
Frank stops to chat with Remy and Cyrus he says hey I have another assignment for you guys… Doris walks up and smiles at them…they are interrupted by Blake who is holding baby Francesca. She says hey Frank your girls over here need a kiss. He kisses her and passes him the baby he says uh-oh she needs something else. How is it that she has two mommies but I'm the only one that changes a diaper? They tell him b/c Olivia and Nat. have gone to pick up Rafe.
THE BUS STATION…
Olivia, Nat., and Emma wait… Rafe gets off the bus …salutes…and says ma I'm home. They hug; she cries Emma and Olivia smile.
THE SPAULDING MANSION…OUTSIDE…
To the happy couple… Danny and Michelle, and Beth and Philip toast Mindy and Rick!! They are getting married tomorrow!! Philip says you finally got the girl… he says took me 40 years… they all laugh… but he adds proudly I finally did it!! Beth says if anyone can handle Rick Mindy can…they all laugh!! She says her concern is getting him to the church on time tomorrow. Philip says I'll get him there don't worry it's the best mans Job… pictures everyone!!!!
OUTSIDE…
James pulls up…Daisy rushes to them and the hug and kiss… Ashlee is there as well.
EUROPE…
Dinah is crouched down peeking around a door Mattel crouched over her… she sighs I love weddings. He teases is that why we had to stop at every church across the way? He says come on…she says doesn't her dress look beautiful… wait this is the part where they say I do. I never get tired of this….
THE PARK BY THE BASEBALL FIELD…
Everyone in town it seems is sitting together… Emma introduces Rafe to his new baby sister… he is thrilled!!
Billy sits with Sarah she has a hot dog… Jonathan come by and sits with them. Billy asks so do you think she'll come? Have you talked to her today? He says no did you hear from Josh? Billy says I vet he's at the light house…he looks at his watch …right about …now…
OUTSIDE THE LIGHT HOUSE…
Josh sits at the truck…he looks at his watch, gets up and walks to the lighthouse steps, and he sits.
Reva can be seen walking across the grass… she is beautiful in a long dress her hair pulled back a bit… Colin walks with her… hand in hand.
Josh sees her and he gets up and walks towards her… she smiles, waves… they stop face to face. She looks down at Colin who looks at Josh and she says look whose here. Josh smiles down at him and says hi there…can you give me five? Colin does…Josh smiles and says excellent!!! TY. He smiles at Reva, returning his attention to her, he says I wasn't sure that you were going to be here. She says yes you were…they laugh…she adds you knew I'd show up… but.. you didn't know what I was going to say. He looks at her more serious and asks…what were you going to say?
She says her voice catching…you were right I needed to live my life... to find myself again. He asks softly…did
you…did you find yourself? She says with tears, yes… yes I did it was hard not to get in touch surrounded by family and love. He says so then you found Reva
again… she smiles back at him and says yep, with that Reva smile …he laughs, so does she… She looks him in the eye and asks did... you find Joshua? He smiles
at her and says , looking more seriously... yes ma'ma I did. She asks in tears and does he want the same thing he always wanted? He says yes to be with the
same woman I have loved my entire life… for the rest of my life. Yes …I want you. She has tears in her eyes, overcome with emotion … he says I love you Reva….
She cries... I love you Joshua… and if you still want to be together well then…I'm in…she smiles through her tears… (they play the Josh and Reva theme
music from way back)… leaning in he takes her face in his hands and smiling says … well that's a good thing…they smile he leans in and reaches up and he
kisses her in front of the lighthouse he holds onto her she rests her hands along his waist…. little Colin looks at them.
They rest forehead to forehead and she smiles… they both look down at little Colin and smile she touches his hat. Josh smiles, as she wipes away her tears he asks so…where's you stuff? She says stuff…in my car. He says well let's go get it then. We aren't gonna stay here we are going on an adventure… he smiles at her she smiles back…he says me and you and Colin…come on let's go get it. She says hey sweet pea…and takes Colin's hand… Josh wraps his arm around her shoulders and she curls into his embrace her arm around his waist they look at Colin, he looks up at them… Then the three walk along she gazes up at Josh he looks down at her smiling.
A music montage follows of all of the characters…
Hanging out at the ballpark, laughing, eating, and sharing great moment together. Shayne and Jonathan showing Sarah how to play baseball…
Mallet and Marina at the church in Europe she smiles at him, he smiles at her picks her up and carries her out over his shoulder… she laughs.
Ashlee and Daisy hop in for a ride in James's red convertible.
At the Spaulding Mansion they all toast Mindy and Rick again laughing and hugging and talking…
The whole town of SF just going on and on and on brining a whole new generation to the canvass…
THE LIGHTHOUSE…
Little Colin sits in the back of the pick up truck... Reva and Josh stand on opposite sides each puts a bag in… he looks at her… serious at first … a small smile emerging… she looks at him goes into a full all out Reva smile shrugging her shoulder… he smile full at her right back. She watches as he lifts Colin out of the back and resting him on his hip open his door placing him in as Reva gets in on the other side. He gets in Colin tucked in between them he looks at Colin…the he looks at her, she looks back into his eyes …he smiles and asks are you ready… she says smiling back and in a most definite Reva voice says …
ALWAYS….
He smiles back looks at Colin, then looks at her as she smiles at him and he says let's go….
Life has a funny way of showing you where to go
And we belong together
Like the moon and the stars at midnight
And we belong together….
Reva, Josh and Colin … drive out past the lighthouse and down the road together…
And we'll be strong together…
And we belong together…
