Thanks Malar..I don't want Janet to act like the aggrieved party either. But really, why is it going to be shock to her? She KNOWS that Jack has always
loved Carly. I wish someone would tell her how stupid she was to think that Jack really loved her. I k now he has told her he loves her and he might really
love her, but I don't think he has ever been IN love with her.

Well, whatever Janet knew or not knew, Jack did marry her. He is still married to her. So, he is breaking his marriage vows by having sex with Carly while
being married to Janet. So, Janet is going to be the aggrieved party as much as I loathe and detest Janet - sigh ...
I wish, I wish, I wish that Jack had found out how Janet, his bedrock of "simple life", was duplicitous in hiding her dangerous connection to her uncle the thug Ralph. I wish, I wish, I wish that it was Janet who had gone on to start an affair with Dusty before Jack returned (without having had sex with Carly). I *hate* this. |

It was a done deal for me that they would do the deed sooner rather that later once she pulled out the compass the other day. I too am tired of all the
non-monogamous sex going on around ATWT. I really wish they would do a story line on hey, I'm falling in love with someone else, and no I haven't had
sex with them yet, I'm being ignored by you so fight for me if you want me. I know, I know what a bore that would be.

Actually, being far from boring, it will be so novel for the Soap genre that all the viewers will come back to actually watch the drama, I think

Cannot imagine why they would otherwise be in that situation! All of the maried people on soaps have sex with people outside of their marriage..You are right about that - but that is not what bothers me about this situation - what gets me riled up is that Carly will be put through the mud again. Heaven knows she is no saint - I loved it the other day when she and Craig said something equal to that the other day about them being not in danger of being saints who committed sins or words to that effect (it was a very sweet scene) - but I don't want Carly to be in the wrong, in the role of a 'home wrecker' with reference to Saintly Janet! I mean, Janet is an awful woman, always self-righteous, always blaming others for all the problems she has caused in her own life, never ever ready to own up to her own mistakes, is deceitful in hiding her horrid uncle from Jack and all that, but now, she is going to be the aggrieved party and Carly will be the culprit if CarJack do actually have sex. And Janet catches them. Sigh ...

LOL I think she will just see them sleeping in the bed..not having sex. Althugh it wouldn't surprise me. HOWEVER, wouldn't it be wonderful if they
didn't jump into sex for a while..preferably when he's divorced? LOL

Ok I have been watching for only a few weeks here but I am way into the Jack/Carly couple. I don't like this Janet girl but really enjoyed Jack and Carly
especially today. I've been kinda laying low on the message boards b/c I just wanted to feel out the characters without any outside opinions but I had to
just a thread tonight to express how much I like them. I also like that Simon character of course he might be a creep I don't know anything about him but
he does seem to care very much for Katie.

Tania, I'm so glad you are here.
 Jack and Carly are my favorites so I love talking about them. LOL They used to be the most romantic couple on the
show before tptb ruined his character and made him fall out of favor. I think they have finally decided that Jack needs to be redeemed and their money couple
should be together. At least I hope that's what they're going to do.
The show has been much better since Maura/Carly has come back from Maura's maternity leave. Unfortunately Simon is on temporarily. He was really popular a few years ago when he was a regular cast member and married to Katie. I really liked them together. They've kind of messed with his character since he has been coming back occasionally. He comes back a few weeks at a time..which isn't enough to have a really good story. Last time he came back, he messed up Carly's character to facilitate Maura's 4th maternity leave. (her 5th baby was born this summer and she was in alcohol rehab) LOL I would say he's a cad..but not creepy. LOL

Welcome Tania. I've been watching for 30+ years and Carly and Jack have been faves of mine too. Maura West has won at least one Daytime Emmy, maybe two for
her portrayal of Carly. She's just great. I'll even admit I liked her with Simon.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Maura West and her Carly are absolutely my favourites.
I really like Michael Park, but have disliked Jack since he came back with his amnesia and Julia 2, and the dislike has grown steadily since. Right now, Jack is simply dead to me. However, I am watching eagerly to see whether and how they are putting CarJack together again. I would love to see some redemption of Jack and some real strengthening of Carly before this is attempted. If they can do it right, without degrading Carly all over again in the process and with uplifting Jack, nothing will make me happier! MP and MW are just amazing actors, and once upon a time, their Jack and Carly together were simply marvelous. Sigh .... |

I am not a CarJack fan at all. They have been there and done that so many times, it has gotten boring. I guess now that the show has been cancelled they will reunite, yet again, and ride off in the cop car sunset. Snooze.......... Here's a thought, if the writers could come up with original material instead of rehashing the same ole stuff, the shows would continue to be interesting and engaging and most importantly renewed! |

form dead isn't ever really dead is it... so maybe we will see some kind of a come back someday. I'm gonna support the remaining ones to the end b/c it
is really pi$$ing me off that they are running down a genre.

Personally I like Janet. I can't stand Carly or Jack. Neither one of them have any respect for anyones marriage vows. This is why the show is cancelled.The
show has a ghost running around screaming, They turned Damian into a dope Faux Lily into the most unlikable character. The show is unwatchable.They have turned
off all the old loyal fans.Goutman said it didn't matter what the fans wanted, he was doing it his way. Well he did. Him and his the characters can shoot
people etc and come out smelling like a rose. The faces are the same but Who the hell are these people andwhat did he do with their personalities?????
I can't be;ieve this is the show I use to make sure I was home to watch,and after vcrs made sure it was taped.Maybe its just me,and I am all soaped out. I don't seem to care that its over. I feel for the shows actors, This is no time to be out of a job. I don't watch now so I guess I won't miss it GL I was sorry about. Do I sound bitter? Doug Marland must be spinning in his grave with the way Goutman changed his characters.

The show is cancelled because Proctor and Gamble want out of the soap business because it's not making them the money they want. Sure, the Brad-Ghost story
is lame, but every soap has lame storylines. And for every lame storyline, or character that someone dislikes, there are fans of that character. Case in point,
Janet.
I feel that we are going to see more and more soaps going. I honestly think that there is no safe soap. I'm glad for those who won't miss it, but I will miss it terribly. Praying daily for our Guy |
